The Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA) is of Africa and for Africa. AISA is dedicated to transforming student learning by leading and supporting professional growth, good governance, strategic thinking, and the wellbeing of the entire AISA community of schools.
International School of Uganda seeks to foster lifelong learners who are agents of their learning and wellbeing; who seek a deeper understanding of, and connection to, themselves, others, in the school, Uganda, and global communities; and act upon personal passions and strengths to contribute in the pursuit of a more sustainable, equitable, inclusive, and just world.
MAD Courses empowers students to become storytellers and change-makers through interactive, online programs that blend creativity with social impact. From hands-on documentary filmmaking to immersive global citizenship quests, our courses ignite young voices to make a difference. We partner with schools worldwide to support student-driven projects that inspire action, empathy, and real-world connection.
Kola Kati: Act Now
The theme for the 2025 summit is “Kola Kati”, which means "Act Now" in one of the native languages of Uganda, Luganda. This theme embodies the spirit of urgency and action that drives the global movement towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With climate change, inequality, and global health challenges looming larger than ever, now is the time for youth to step forward and contribute to positive change.
Join the Docathon innovator's list for long-lasting impact! We envision schools hosting their own Docathons, and and joining regional and global competitions each year. It's not just a one-time thing; it's an ongoing journey of creativity and impact. Ready to join the adventure?
